Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- For the topping: 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 2–3 teaspoons milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in dried cranberries, white chocolate chips, and orange zest.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, until lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan.
- For the topping, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bars and allow to set before slicing into squares.
